  • Offering unbiased, impartial insights on securities and markets.
  • Providing recommendations based on careful evaluation, with full transparency regarding any financial interests in the recommended securities.
  • Delivering investment advice based on analysis of publicly accessible information and thorough observations.
  • Conducting annual audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of research provided.

C. Services Provided to Investors (No Specific Timelines)

  • Assisting in the client onboarding process seamlessly.
  • Distributing research findings and recommendations to clients without bias.
  • Ensuring confidentiality of research reports until they are publicly released.

D. Grievance Redressal Mechanism and Access

In case of any issues or complaints, investors should first approach the research analyst for resolution within a 30-day timeframe.

If the matter is not satisfactorily addressed, investors can file a complaint with SEBI via the SCORES portal, an online system designed for complaints management. SEBI will engage with the relevant intermediary for a timely resolution. Alternatively, investors can submit physical complaints to the Office of Investor Assistance and Education at SEBI Bhavan in Mumbai.


E. Investor Responsibilities (Do’s & Don’ts)

Do’s:

  • Ensure that you are dealing with SEBI-registered Research Analysts.
  • Verify the authenticity of the Research Analyst’s registration details and SEBI registration number.
  • Cross-check the SEBI-registered Research Analyst list available on the SEBI website.
  • Review disclosures made in research reports before proceeding with investments.
  • Ensure payments are made to Research Analysts through recognized banking channels and obtain proper receipts.
  • Validate research recommendations before acting on them and ask for clarification on any uncertainties.
  • Report any instances where Research Analysts are offering guaranteed returns to SEBI.

Don’ts:

  • Never transfer investment funds directly to the Research Analyst.
  • Avoid falling for misleading advertisements or rumors circulating in the market.
  • Do not be influenced by time-limited discounts or incentives offered by Research Analysts.
  • Never share your trading and demat account credentials or passwords with any Research Analyst.
